Is this program right for your business?
This program is designed for for-profit, privately held businesses located in the Saskatoon or Regina Regions that meet the following criteria:
- Incorporated and operational for at least two years
- Fewer than 150 employees
- Annual revenue between $1 million and $50 million
- A clear and established business plan
- Operating in one of the following key industries:
- Agriculture
- Mining
- Manufacturing
- Energy
- Technology
- Life Sciences/Biotechnology
Who is not eligible for this program?
The following types of businesses do not meet the eligibility criteria:
- Businesses that are not incorporated
- Early-stage or start-up businesses
- Home-based businesses
- Consultants or sole proprietors
- Non-profit organizations
- Publicly traded companies
How is the program delivered?
Upscale is based on a proven economic gardening approach and is delivered through a mix of in-person and virtual sessions. Here’s what you can expect:

The Selection Process
1. Apply via online form
2. Eligible companies will participate in a virtual discovery call
3. Shortlisted applicants will be scored by an internal selection committee
4. Accepted applicants will be contacted by email and onboarded to the program
